Ink and wash study for etching series

In early 2000 I spent much time printmaking at with Franck Gohier at Red Hand. Working through images that resonated with the close air of the rainy season and the prospect of many new beginnings.

Fun times working at Red Hand.It is really excellent to revisit those times via these images remembering when they were created.Strong and confident use of wash and perspective. The reoccuring symbolism (anonymous person, dog, figure etc..) always present in your work has always been a strong element to enhance and inhabit the ,predominantely, landscape genre.
